All Classes: ePortfolio Websites:
You will build your ePortfolio using the site-builder Weebly.com. Step 1 Head to - www.weebly.com Step 2 Create an account by putting in your name in the designated area on the left side of the screen. Enter in your email address - Create a password - that you can remember! And click on the orange box that says, ‘Sign up. It’s free!’ Step 3 You will need to choose a Theme for your page. Choose a design that fits your personality Step 4 You will be asked to create a domain. You will want to choose the option of “use a subdomain”. This is where you will create your domain name. I suggest that you keep it simple . It will let you know if that domain is available for your use. Step 5 You will be asked what type of site you are creating. You will want to choose the BLOG option from the drop down window. Step 6 Your home page will be your welcome page (you will not need to create this page, but you will have to edit it). For this page you must introduce your portfolio and what it is designed to accomplish. This can be as long as you please, but it must be a minimum of 50 words. Customize your ePortfolio to truly make it "yours." Tomorrow we publish All classes - You'll need to check in here EVERY DAY to see what's happening.
I expect that you will come in sit down and get to work after checking in here so you know exactly what to be working on today - No mystery as to what you will be doing during class - Idle time is not an option.
